As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
The submission meets the ethical guidelines of the journal.
The manuscript is written clearly in standard English.
The text adheres to the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
The submission file is in Microsoft Word or PDF document file format.
Author Guidelines
Scope
Journal of Modern Energy Research welcomes submissions - analyses, reviews and evaluations - from all areas related to modern energy research that make a significant contribution to their field.
New Submissions
To submit your article register and login to our online submission portal here.
There are no strict formatting requirements for the initial submission. However, the article should be in PDF format and contain the essential elements needed to convey your manuscript, for example abstract, keywords, introduction, literature review, methodology, results, and figures with captions.
Peer Review
Once the submission passes initial screening by the editor it is forwarded to two anonymous referees who are experts in the field. After the reviews from the referees are submitted, the editor will make the recommendation to accept, reject, or revise the manuscript at which point the corresponding author will be notified. JMER aims at quick publication of all accepted papers.
Final Submissions
Upon acceptance the authors must submit the final version of their manuscript in MS Word. The authors must use the journal Word template to format their final submission.
